WINE
Domanico Cellars (Seattle) Two drink tickets per taste
-
2010 Lewis Family Vineyard Riesling (Riesling)
Dry Riesling is one of our favorite wines. The 2010 from Lewis Family Vineyard outside Prosser is mineral driven with aromas of wet slate, fresh peaches and Fuji apples. The palate shows great acidity with slight hints of sweetness and a wonderful long finish. This wine’s best attribute may be that it will go with so many foods. Pair this with seafood, including salmon and oysters. It will also be wonderful with chicken and Asian dishes.
-
2008 Le Monstre (Cabernet Sauvignon)
The 2008 Le Monstre is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc. It was aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak. Purple/black in color, it displays a nose of viloets, cedar, black currant, and blackberry. On the palate it is structured but not in an offensive way. There is plenty of material here so this should drink well.
